Fellowship hall, classrooms, chapel and kitchen. Each room has its own hours and bookings, and staff and volunteers can see what’s free and book it themselves.

Less time keeping the room calendar
A room booked when the building is closed.
Rooms keep their own hours
Each room has its own opening hours and its own bookings, so nothing lands when the building is closed. Staff and volunteers still see every room’s free and busy times in one place.
Private meetings stay private.
Private by default
Members see that a room is taken, never who booked it or why. Only your admins see who booked.
Two groups, one classroom.
A booked room stays booked
Once Classroom 2 is booked for a time, it’s taken. If two people try to book it at the same moment, only one gets it.
The weekly study lives in a binder.
Weekly events, booked once
Set up a weekly study, choir practice or youth night once — weekly, every other week or monthly — and the whole run is booked as one series.
Volunteers call the office to ask what’s free.
Everyone sees busy and free
Staff and volunteers sign in with a one-time code, see what’s open and book for themselves. Invite outside groups by email; they sign in and book the same way.
Ask in plain words
Already use ChatGPT or Claude? Connect SummaBooking and ask in plain words — which rooms are free Sunday, book the hall for the youth group. It’s optional; everything also works on the website.
- “Which rooms are free Sunday at 4 for the youth group?”
- “Book Classroom 2 every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for the next 10 weeks.”
- “Add a room called Fellowship Hall that seats 120.”
- “Invite our new youth leader so they can book rooms.”
Admins can also add rooms, set booking rules and invite people. Same rules as the web app, so an assistant can’t book a taken slot either. Works with Claude and ChatGPT (on ChatGPT plans that allow custom connectors). Members can connect too, unless an admin turns that off. Billing stays in your browser — the assistant gives you a link and never takes a card.
